What does the steering group commit to?
Members of the steering group will need to agree the resources, including time and expertise, that they will be able to contribute to each stage of the process. These stages include:
Steering group members should be prepared to approach and utilise their established contacts and networks. They will be individuals who are able to listen to, respect and incorporate into the process different perspectives. They will be committed to the principle of shared priority setting as well as the values of fairness and transparency. These values underpin the culture of the JLA priority setting process and are equally embedded in the JLA facilitatorís approach
